| ‘The Blue Pair #2′ 24″ x 18″ $575.00 USD Oils on gallery wrapped canvas Needs no frame, painted sides, ready to hang Here is the inspiration for this work: “Look, I don’t want to wax philosophic, but I will say that if you’re alive you’ve got to flap your arms and legs, you’ve got to jump around a lot, for life is the very opposite of death, and therefore you must at very least think noisy and colorfully, or you’re not alive.” Mel Brooks The Blue Pair was so much fun, I love these silly blue footed birds so very much. They crack me up, I smiled the entire time I painted this pair. These birds are the Blue-footed Booby, click on the hyper link to learn more about them. I had a super hard time getting correct pictures of this work. The close up pictures are truer in color than the whole pictures. The colors in this work move from dark to light, it's fetching in real life but a bear to get on digital. Argh! I just wanted you all to know what you are looking at.
