"The awakened sages call a person wise when all his undertakings are free from anxiety about results." ~ Krishna The Gita also states: “Abandon all attachment to the results of action and attain supreme peace.” The concept of non-attachment pervades both Hinduism and Buddhism. Their teachings advise us not to abandon our desire to grow and to love, but to abandon our desire to control the results of our actions. Try it out... Think non-attachment. It is harder than it sounds! $175.00 SOLD! |

The top has pictures from the 20 and 30's, old scissors, fortune cookie fortunes, old glass glasses, jewelry, polished stones, old keys, feathers, even a tiny compass and tons of other stuff. My friend told me she looked at it for an hour and was still finding little things that thrilled her. I had such a great time making it, and I showed it to Patty over at the cafe...and she bought it! It took her 2.5 seconds to make up her mind...another time record around here. She has not decided if she will sell it or not...so go bug her about it! |

| "My forest is on fire I wanted you to know" ...After I cut away all the wrapping and went to remove the piece of cardboard that was hiding my treasure, tears started spilling down my cheeks. My hands shook violently as I finally got to see, and feel, the painting that had spoken to me so strongly in just a blog photo. Every last emotion that she felt when she painted it, I felt when I saw it. I understood it and loved it and was embarrassed at the nakedness of her art. She laid herself open for me in this wonderful creation of art, the colors are far stronger than on her site and the paint just flowed across her creation. It is amazing, awe inspiring and humbling creation and I am grateful to now own three magical works of this talented artist. Buy her work! It changes you, it really does. ~Carrie Copeland Starkville, MS |

| for the painting Fairy World #9 "I should have taken a left": " I don't pretend to know a lot about art. I do know that every once in a very rare while, I see a piece of art that speaks to my soul. During those rare moments, my very being expands because of that work and I am somehow incomplete without it. Heather's "I should have taken a left" is one of those pieces. Not only did it touch my soul for a number of personal reasons it is a striking piece. The colors and textures and overall imagery are amazing in and of themselves, but together they reveal a truth that words never could. I am certain that this piece of art will be a centerpiece of conversation with anyone who comes into my home. My art friends will comment on the impressive style and technique and other admirable aspects of the work. But, no matter how impressive the work may be for purely technical art reasons, I now couldn't live without it because it touched my soul. |

| SOLD!Brand New! "SPOT" 100% Cotton Canvas painted in acrylics Indoor/Outdoor 33" X 24" Floorcloth Just finished 5/5/04 1/1 As in, "Hey you missed a Spot!" This floor cloth is fun, and vibrant. It has 5 layers of reds, yellows, and oranges in it's deep red background. I had so much fun painting it. The floating black sphere in the murky, fiery background. I fell in love with it, early in the process and I found that I just couldn't take away from the imperfectly round black spot. It was what it wanted to be, and I knew I had to stop. (BTW the crinkles you see in these pictures are because I just unrolled it and threw it on the floor, so you can see what it will look like when you get it, It will flatten out and act right once it is walked on some.) It vaguely reminds me of those black holes that the coyote always had...like if you threw it down on the floor at just the right time, you could jump through and catch that road runner, once and for all. This is a top grade Floorcloth, made of 100% Medium weight cotton canvas. It sports Mitered corners and 2" edges, so it won't move around and wrinkle with use. It also has a no skid backing so it will be safe to use in those slippery "spots". I can name 5 uses for this little carpet: 1. A Big Dog Slobber Mat! Make the Spot in your life Feel extra Special! 2. In front of that Dark Kitchen Sink! 3. Hey you jive turkey, it's almost a special day! This would be a great gift for that special person in your life! 4.How about your Back door or your Mud Room? Yeah, that'll add some spice! 5.Because you have been looking for a reason to say, "That's Spot On, Sport" more often in your life. (insert announcers voice) I know you are saying to your self..."self, that's crazy talk, how can she sell such an amazing, one of a kind, work of genius for that low, incredibly affordable price?" Just because I like you...that's why. So now, "would you like this gift wrapped?" Thanks for being here! Heather |
| Fun Lamp #1 BRAND NEW! SOLD! |
| "The Ruling Class King & Queen" 2 Chair Set 2/2 Mixed Media SOLD These were so much fun to make that I hardly wanted to let them go. They are real 20's and 30's style, all-wood, fully restored vintage chairs. Repaired professionally, and then given to me by Don Woods (freecycle friend) these are quality chairs with great lines and now even better colors. They both sport fake mink seats, (it feels real though) and royal colors in deep red and regal purple and gold. Black grounds them and makes them stick to the floor. Would be great at a table or as daily furniture for the right person, made to be sat in. The kings chair has purple and gold threaded velvet on the back, trimmed in gold rope, costume jewelry, a vintage gold round pillow and tassels. The Queen chair is sexy and svelte and bedecked in jewels and crystals. All though the names denote a gender to theses chairs, I do not. They are genderless in my mind, they could just as easily been "Queen and Consort" or any number of things, the common working title better explains the sets artistic meanings, "The Ruling Class" the "King and Queen" parts of the titles are to make them easily distinguished between the two for pictures and identification. Email me for more pictures |
| "Pool Table" 1/1 22" X 18" X 20" Mixed Media and acrylics SOLD Fun little side table, bright deep blue pool with swirling magenta, nerve ending inspired, wild flowers. I love this table because it reminds me that I love my life, I love my body that is healing, I love my spirit that is free, like a flower, floating in a pure blue pool, of happy Heather energy. |
