| ’Monster Suit #3′ ' Dick's Last chance party dance' 18″ x 24″ - oils Finished sides, back stapled canvas, needs no frame, ready to hang Here is the quote that goes with this work: "Ever notice that the Soup For One is eight aisles away from the Party Mix?" ~Elayne Boosler *** I wanted to paint a Monster Suit that we all know and love (well maybe love is too strong a word here, read on)…the Last Call Party Monster. This one is my idea of what Dick Cheany must have been doing the last night he was in office (not lifting heavy boxes as stated by the press). I actually painted him after good old Dick...you can see it in the eyes... or the lack thereof...it must of been hard for old Dick to see the country vote him and GWB out of office and the red turn to blue. I didn't want to title the work with Dick's Cheany's name, because I don't want to offend people, but I also wanted to tell the truth behind my work so..There it is...this artist is liberal. (middle of the road liberal, but still) Just remember to take his keys before he tries to drive home. Friends don’t let Monsters drive drunk. BTW the pictures do not do him justice…he’s rich (no pun intended) and deep in color. If you own any of my art then you know that I really stink at picture taking, it always looks better in real life. If I could just take better pictures, I’d probably sell more artwork.
