Max Stone:
"I am a painter because I like to express my
feelings through my work. When I am painting
my feelings become the paint. I started painting
when I was 3 years old. I am 11 now.  I want to
sell my art because I want to see what I can
accomplish if I try my very best. The money I
make from the sales of my art allow me to buy
art supplies and to save for my future college
fund, I would like to attend the best art college in
the country when I am old enough. Right now I
am self taught. I hope you like looking at my art,
and thank you for visiting."

I wanted to show that boys and girls, all kids, have rights
and feelings about our country too. That’s why I used boy
and girl paper cutouts in all the colors that people come in
instead of stars on my American Flag. We all count, and
we all want what’s best for our country and our world.
Kids matter too. Happy 4th of July!

'Moon on Water'
24" x 18"
Acrylics
SOLD
Painting wraps around sides, needs no frame & ready to
hang
I love the moon. I like to see it reflected on water the best, it
makes me feel happy. I am from the West Coast and I
remember being at the ocean with the full moon with the
dark water reflecting the moons shine while my parents
and my brother and I walked down the beach. I painted my
memory of that. I hope you like it too.

When I found out that this theme was "no theme" I let my imagination run wild.
My alien landscape is what happened. On this planet there is a light green
moon (that's the bigger one) and a tiny light blue moon. The sky is really red
and the sun is very fiery orange and yellow. You can see the fire on the sun,
but it won't burn your eyes if you look right at it. There is a nice place to play
between the dark purple trees. The blue and purple mountains have light
purple snow on them and it smells like grape kool-aid. On this planet people
can fly, play and dance without ever getting tired. It's a fun world with lots of
things to do and see.

" I created Bubble Boy because I wanted to experience new things with
my painting. The Challenge this time was to do something
"Anonymous" and Bubble Boy came to my mind. I was thinking about
those Wanted pictures that you see when there is a criminal that the
police have no picture of, so they have an artist draw one to show the
public. No one knows who they are yet, it's just a picture. So, I thought
I'd draw my own criminal, and that is Bubble Boy. He is a terrible bubble
gum thief. He will steal any bubble gum anywhere, anytime. You had
better be on the lookout for a crazy bubble blowing boy, he might me
sticky and dangerous."
