" I don't pretend to know a lot about art. I do know that every once in a very rare
while, I see a piece of art that speaks to my soul. During those rare moments, my
very being expands because of that work and I am somehow incomplete without it.
Heather's "I should have taken a left" is one of those pieces. Not only did it touch
my soul for a number of personal reasons
it is a striking piece. The colors and textures and overall imagery are amazing in
and of themselves, but together they reveal a truth that words never could. I am
certain that this piece of art will be a centerpiece of conversation with anyone who
comes into my home. My art friends will comment on the impressive style and

for me, too! The painting would have been enough. Really, cyberworld, the
pictures cannot capture the beauty wrapped up in this painting. It glows and
moves with you, it looks like liquid. It's shimmery and deep all in one. BUY HER

"My forest is on fire I wanted you to know"
...After I cut away all the wrapping and went to remove the piece of cardboard
that was hiding my treasure, tears started spilling down my
cheeks. My hands shook violently as I finally got to see, and feel, the painting
that had spoken to me so strongly in just a blog photo. Every last
emotion that she felt when she painted it, I felt when I saw it. I understood it and
loved it and was embarrassed at the nakedness of her art. She laid herself
open for me in this wonderful creation of art, the colors are far stronger than
on her site and the paint just flowed across her creation. It is amazing, awe
inspiring and humbling creation and I am grateful to now own
three magical works of this talented artist. Buy her work! It changes you, it
really does.

I was gifted this old battered crappy looking
stool by a friend who is a master woodworker. He
had it in his shop for like 20 years or something,
and never got around to fixing the top half of the
highchair.
He said, "if you think you can do something with
it...take it!"
So, I did.
What I found was that it had very sexy curved
legs, and the oak was at least a hundred years
old when it was cut down in the late 1800's. I
sanded and cleaned it up, and went to work on it.
