I worked on this painting because being a retired Garden
designer I miss my flowers, the soil under my nails, the
thinking, the planning, the research for just the right plant for
this or that spot or client.
These are the flowers that I dream about, not anything seen
in nature, but flowers of my own invention. They are deep
blue/green, with the dark tones all being in the rich deep
violet/purples and Vibrant come to me greens. Framed, and
ready to hang, I do warn you, when you are not looking they
sway gently in their magical, slight breeze. They sing their
own quiet song of spring year round.
